Sports/Remedial Massage

Our sports and remedial massage is a targeted massage treatment for those suffering with pain or have a minor injury whereby sports massage supports recovery. It is also suitable for people who are physically active or just prefer a sports massage for maintenance purposes, or anyone who wishes us to treat troublesome muscular aches and pains.

Here at SSL Massage Therapies we treat people from a range of backgrounds including amateur athletes, manual workers to office workers and stay-at-home parents. We work with you and your body, not against it, to achieve your treatment goals. The belief that "more pain, more gain" in sports massage is a very outdated concept and with our ongoing training surrounding pain science, we understand how important it is to work within your levels of comfort. That doesn't mean we can't work "deeply" but that our to touch is meaningful and soothing.​
